This year, I'm offering limited Fall mini sessions with designated rain dates for outdoor shoots. My 2026 fall mini sessions will be held at Central Park in NYC on October 3rd, with the rain date being October 4th.
This session will be with our team photographer, Clara. She moved to NYC from Peru as an au pair and fell in love with photography. With a calm, observant presence, she captures moments as they naturally unfold and, at the same time, gives guidance when it's needed. She's been photographing families for Bethany Michaela Studio for over three years and is amazing!

These sessions will be with Bethany. It will be my sixth photographing in this location, and I'm so excited to see everyone!

Spots are limited and first come, first served, so if you want first dibs on times that work for your schedule, book now. We do fill up almost every slot every year.

Mini sessions will not be rescheduled unless there is bad weather. If you are not able to make your session you can transfer your session to a friend or you can use it as a credit to go towards a full family session.

I always have an alternate rain date planned for outdoor mini sessions. When booking, make sure you are available for both the original date and the rain date for the same time you book your session.

About one week after your session, we'll meet on Zoom for your Photo Reveal. We go through the gallery together, talk through retouching, and you choose the images you want to take home. You always have the option to purchase more images, albums and wall art.

Mini sessions are built for up to 5 people. If you're a bigger group, or you want individual portraits of everyone, a full session gives us the time to do it properly. Email bethany@bethanymichaela.com to book that session.

We recommend booking a full session if you haven't had a family session in a while. Mini sessions are for families who just need a quick, updated family photo for Christmas cards or to quickly document this season in life. Please arrive early so we have the full 20 minutes.
