Clara and Michael had an amazing Hill Country wedding in Hunt, Texas. There were so many special and thoughtful moments throughout the entire celebration. I was honored to be able to capture engagement photos at the same location as their ceremony the day before. I also got to attend and photograph the rehearsal dinner. Friends and family came from all over to celebrate these two.
Getting Ready
Clara got ready in her family’s home, El Tambo, which was designed by her sister Hilary. It’s absolutely stunning and was the perfect place to spend the wedding weekend. Their home overlooks the Guadalupe River. The groomsmen got ready near Mo Ranch where the ceremony took place. Clara wore a satin form-fitting dress with a long veil. The bridesmaids wore stunning purple eyelet dresses and the groomsmen wore navy suits.
The Ceremony
Clara and Michael got married at Mo Ranch, which had a spectacular view of Hill Country. Clara had memories of Mo Ranch from her childhood so the location meant a lot to the couple. Their ceremony was full of beautiful moments between friends and family. After the ceremony, we all went back to El Tambo and ate pimento cheese sandwiches and relaxed near the river before heading to the reception.
The Reception
The reception was at The Argyle in San Antonio. Originally built in 1854 as the headquarters of a horse ranch that extended from downtown San Antonio. There was seated dinner and then everyone danced their hearts out. Near the end of the reception, Clara changed into a short dress with silk flowers.
