San Antonio Texas Wedding Photographer | Hilary and David

Hilary and David had been together for several years when they decided to tie the knot. They knew they wanted an intimate wedding with only their closest friends and family. They found the perfect place to celebrate their love: Hilary’s mother’s house in San Antonio, Texas. It was an honor to be their San Antonio Texas wedding photographer.

The San Antonio Home Wedding

The wedding was a small affair, with only a few guests in attendance. Hilary looked stunning in her short white dress and birdcage veil with her white pumps. David donned a tan suit and a white cowboy hat. They exchanged vows in the living room of Hilary’s mother’s house, surrounded by their loved ones.

The decor was colorful and fun, with streamers and white flowers adorning the dining room. As a wedding photographer I love it when my couples aren’t afraid of color. It is always so fun to be able to capture their personality with all of the colors they add to their wedding day. The intimate setting of the wedding allowed everyone to feel more connected to Hilary and David.

The Wedding Reception

After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed a delicious Mexican feast catered by a local restaurant. The mariachi band played lively music as everyone chatted and laughed over plates of the most delicious food.

One of the day’s most memorable moments came when I was taking family portraits. Hilary and David’s dog, who had been running around the backyard, decided to do his business right in front of the family. I’ve been a wedding photographer for over twelve years and I’ve never had this happen before. Everyone burst into laughter, and it became a moment that the couple and their guests would never forget.

The reception was just as intimate and memorable as the wedding ceremony. Hilary and David had set up a candy and toy station for the kids, which kept them entertained throughout the evening. The guests mingled and danced to the mariachi music, savoring every moment of the celebration.

Intimate Elopement to a Large Wedding

While the wedding was small and intimate, no less special than a larger affair, the intimacy of the day made it all the more meaningful for Hilary and David. At least they were able to share their love with those closest to them in a way that felt genuine and authentic.

Hilary and David later had a larger wedding at the Houston Museum of Art, but their intimate San Antonio wedding always holds a special place in their hearts. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories they will surely treasure forever.

Hilary and David’s intimate San Antonio wedding was a beautiful celebration of their love. From the fun and colorful decor to the delicious food and live music, every moment of the day was filled with joy while being equally meaningful. It was a reminder that a wedding doesn’t have to be grandiose to be unique – sometimes, the most intimate celebrations are the most memorable.
