This couple’s love for each other and their family is so evident. These two are the perfect balance of being effortlessly classy and super relaxed. Mokume Gane made their rings, a 500-year-old wood-grain-inspired technique traditionally used to make Japanese swords. As if that wasn’t cool enough, both bands were made from the same piece of metal.
Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion in Canandaigua, upstate New York, had so many beautiful shooting locations and was established circa the 1880s. Their ceremony was in the Rock Garden, cocktail hour was in the Japanese Garden, and we took portraits throughout the grounds and through the Italian Garden and Mansion.
Their love is effortless, and the light was perfect. We loved reliving their Sonnenberg Gardens wedding.
