This St. Louis Missouri, wedding was truly a stunning event! The bride and groom said “I do” at the beautiful Christ the King Catholic Church, followed by a gorgeous reception at the Missouri Athletic Club. I was lucky to be their wedding photographer, who was able to freeze every moment of this special celebration in time. From the happy couple to the emotional moments shared between family and friends, this St. Louis wedding was one to remember.
The Venue
The couple chose the beautiful Christ the King Catholic Church for their wedding. The classic architecture of the church created an elegant atmosphere with towering arches, and a lit-up Christmas tree that perfectly set the scene for the ceremony. Guests were in awe as they entered the church and felt the love and excitement of the day.
The Dress
For her Missouri wedding, the bride chose a beautiful dress with a tulle skirt and delicate flower appliqués. The bodice was embellished with tiny sequins for a touch of sparkle and shine. She completed the look with a long veil and a pair of diamond earrings. Her bridesmaids wore long black dresses that complimented the classic feel of the wedding. The overall effect was one of timeless elegance, perfect for a romantic St. Louis wedding.
The Flowers
The bride and bridesmaids carried bouquets of white roses with white peonies and a few white anemones throughout, creating a romantic look that was perfect for the luxury wedding. The tables were covered in delicate greenery and small white flowers, creating an inviting atmosphere in the Missouri Athletic Club. The arrangements complemented the other timeless elements of the wedding perfectly and added to the romantic atmosphere of the day.
The Cake
For the cake, the bride and groom chose a stunning multi-tiered white wedding cake, with gold bands around the edges of each layer. The cake was a stunning piece of art that was sure to make a statement at the reception!
The Reception
The grand reception was held in the stunning ballroom of the Missouri Athletic Club. With its large crystal chandeliers, beautiful gold accented table settings, and luxurious ambiance, this was a wedding reception fit for royalty. The couple treated their guests to gold party horns and fun headbands that identified the mother of the bride and bridesmaids. The evening was captured by a talented luxury wedding photographer from Texas and New York who flew into St. Louis for the wedding. It was a wonderful evening and the perfect celebration of the couple’s special day.
