I have loved Brooklyn family photos with Judy and Yamil’s family over the years. This was our second session together, and we started this family session at their Park Slope Brooklyn apartment, with the historic brownstones filling the neighborhood. I made sure to capture their childhood bedrooms lined with dolls and covered in their art creations. We then walked to Prospect Park nearby to continue their session out in nature.
The Best Neighborhood for Brooklyn Family Photos
Brooklyn family photos in the Park Slope neighborhood are the best for so many reasons. The colorful leaves paved the way and filled the park with all the first signs of fall. Once we got to Prospect Park, Sparrow and Enzo started climbing the trees and exploring. We finished the session on a blanket they had brought along, the perfect prop for a park photo session. It was my ideal combination of a home session, and a nature session all rolled into one. Since I shoot so often in this neighborhood I’ve created a Brooklyn family photo membership so you can be sure to get family photos every year to capture all your best memories! Because they booked a three-hour session, I could also capture video during our time together. Here’s what we came up with!
