This couple wanted to capture their engagement session at an iconic New York City location. The historic Bow Bridge has been featured in many films throughout the years. Bow Bridge is the perfect location for a classic New York City photo shoot.
We started our session on the cast iron bridge and then went down to a fountain to get some shots in front of the water. We finished the first outfit down the stairs in front of the arches. In the second outfit, she wore a beautiful red dress that complimented the greenery in the background.
We made our way throughout the park, stopping to take pictures with the trees lining the sidewalk. They finished their Central Park engagement session by taking a taxi to their final location in the city.
Their love radiated through my camera’s lens, making it so easy to capture. If your dream is to take pictures at this iconic bridge in New York, my tips are to wake up early before the crowd comes if you want the bridge mainly to yourself. Bow Bridge is a high-traffic area for tourists looking to get a picture of this historic bridge. But despite it being a popular tourist attraction, it does make for the perfect backdrop for proposals, engagement sessions, or family sessions.
