An engagement photography session with Emily and John in Dumbo, New York, was the perfect way to capture the excitement and love of the newly engaged couple in a beautiful and iconic location.
There is a reason Dumbo is one of my favorite spots for New York engagement photography or New York wedding photography. Dumbo is a popular spot for photography because of its unique architecture and picturesque scenery. Dumbo, stands for “Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass,” is a neighborhood in Brooklyn that offers stunning views of the Manhattan skyline, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the East River.
About the Engagement Session
This engagement photography session started with Emily and John on the Brooklyn Bridge. We took some casual shots of Emily and John walking hand-in-hand and laughing together, with the Manhattan skyline in the background.
From there, we ventured to the Washington Street cobblestone alleyway, famous for its view of the Manhattan Bridge. Emily and John posed for photos on the cobblestones with the bridge in the distance.
We got some engagement pictures of Emily and John sitting on a park bench with the city skyline in the background. We finished this area by taking photos along the water’s edge, capturing the river and boats passing by.
Wrapping up the Session
As the session ended, we ventured to get some coffee for fun and playful shots of them enjoying each other’s company while sipping their drinks in front of the coffee shop.
