The McNabbs are such a precious family! They have a beautiful home full of natural light, making it the perfect place for a Park Slope family photography session. The McNabbs brother and sister duo were so cute in front of my camera, smiling together on the couch and playing make-believe with paper crowns and wooden cameras, pointing their lens right back at me.
After playing inside, we ventured into the historic Park Slope neighborhood of New York. The brownstones and tree-lined streets made for the perfect classic New York fall family session. The tree leaves had changed to beautiful yellow and orange, signally the beginning of a new season. Luckily we made it just in time before all of the leaves had fallen. Capturing this foursome in front of my camera was such a treat!
My favorite part of a family photography session is being able to capture your kids in their element. That’s why I always recommend we start the session at your house. After we finish at your house we can venture to a park that is nearby. If we were to go to a place that they are not familiar with they might be nervous or unsure, which can show in the pictures. I want pictures of your kids feeling confident and playing with their favorite toys in their favorite spaces. I always end up with the best photos this way.
